Michele Blumberg is a graduate of Naropa’s MA in Contemplative Education program and has been on the faculty since her graduation in 2003. Her undergraduate degree is in Early Childhood Education with Montessori training. She has taught in various schools and was director of her own small school for over a decade.
For more than 2 decades Michele taught Parenting classes in the San Diego Unified School District. She has developed programs for child safety and family development and led parenting workshops worldwide.
Michele is one of the creators and developers of the curricula for grades K-3 for Global Village School, an international homeschool program, and taught in that program for 10 years.
Currently she works with homeschooling families, teaches at Naropa University and does tutoring through FlyingStart Tutoring, her company.
With 4 adult children and 6 grandchildren she has a passion for families and education.
